Remodeling is a process of taking what is and making it into something you want it to be. It is a creative process that can be daunting and unnecessarily costly if careful consideration is not given to each component of the project before the project begins. We have been called in on the back-end of some remodeling projects that did not turn out as planned and ended up costing the client much more. Such costly errors can be totally avoided with great vision, design and planning. This is a major part of our business and one that is most rewarding for us and the client. It’s exciting to see a space become exactly what was imagined and fits the owner’s lifestyle perfectly.

The process from conception, to tear-out, to completion is fluid if you have the right professionals guiding you through the process. We manage that process so that the project is on time, in budget and requires as little interruption of the client’s daily activity as possible. How the process works:

• We meet with the client and contractor (ours or one that the client chooses) and walk the project. The vision is communicated by the client while we together consider structural limitations and brainstorm possibilities.
• Client meets with us at the tile and flooring store to choose countertops, flooring, backsplash, etc. We may also choose appliances, hardware, lighting and other items that are necessary to meet the project needs.
• We schedule an appointment with the tile and flooring company as well as the cabinet company and painter to walk the project and measure for materials.
• Quotes are given directly to the client by each vendor within a few business days. We then schedule an appointment to discuss any changes or revisions.
• A start and finish date is decided and work begins. We manage the project with an on-line calendar, frequent visits and communication through-out the entire process to ensure that is on time and within budget.
